Posed portraits
If you want a portrait that's more then a cheesy mug shot taken against a plain background, then you've come to the right place. We specialise in taking atmospheric and emotional photographs that have tons of personality and interest. Using dramatic lighting and interesting locations the results are more artistic and reflect the true character of the sitter. We work hard to make sure the images really earn a place on your wall or mantelpiece.
Every photo is unique as tailore for you, we'll even consider the colour scheme of the room it's the going to hang in (if that's important to you). It's a collaborative work so we urge you to input your ideas as well your own, to make sure the end result is something you'll be happy to live with.
Choose your style
Take a look in our portraits gallery, in magazines, and elsewhere online, to find a style that you really like. Think about pose, location, colour, mood, and the quality of the light. Perhaps you want a photo in your home with your dog or while busying yourself with favourite hobby. We'll take your ideas, mix it with our own unique styling and produce and image that's perfect for you.

It's not expensive to have your own custom photo shoot with Benslens. Take advantage of our great value introductory package while it lasts.
Warm-up and 30-minute shoot
We'll spend a few minutes taking test pictures to relax you and get set up, then a further 30-minutes to an hour to bag some images we're all happy with.
Basic image enhancement
The best images will receive software enhancements from our experts to make sure they are punchy and vibrant, and you look your best.
Proofing service
We'll e-mail you samples of the finished images for you to view and choose your favourites.
One free print
We'll retouch and print one image for free for you, just tell us which you'd like and the size.
Bolt-ons
Use these to supplement the basic portrait package and buy a photography service that's right for you and your budget.
High-quality prints ~ From £7
All images will receive high-resolution retouching and are printed on Fuju DP2 high-gloss archival paper.
Low-resolution pictures on CD ~ £25
Get all the short-listed images from the shoot in low-resolution format. They are no good for printing but ideal for use online or as a desktop wallpaper. Note: Images are watermarked.
High-resolution pictures on CD ~ £40 each
Want to make your own prints? We'll give you the digital images on CD for just £40 each. Not for advertising use.
